About Us

Our Story

While walking through a neighborhood in St. Louis, a group of friends encountered someone experiencing an opioid overdose. One of them owned naloxone — a proven, lifesaving medication — but it wasn’t with them at the moment it was needed. That experience made something clear: access alone isn’t enough. Preparedness matters. That moment became the foundation for nCase.

When every second counts, being prepared matters. nCase Tech was created after a real-world experience that revealed a gap too many people face: lifesaving medication exists, but it isn’t always with us when it’s needed the most.

From Experience to Purpose
Naloxone is increasingly available through hospitals, harm reduction organizations, and community programs. But carrying it consistently — in a way that’s discreet, durable, and easy to integrate into everyday life — remains a challenge.

If life saving medication is awkward to carry, easy to damage, or difficult to keep close, it’s more likely to be left behind. And when that happens, the opportunity to save a life can be lost. nCase was built to help remove that friction; not by changing the medication, but by rethinking how it’s carried.

Our naloxone carry cases are designed to fit naturally into daily routines. They’re compact, weather-resistant, and durable enough for real-world use; whether clipped to keys, stored in a bag, or kept within easy reach.

Every design decision is intentional, shaped by conversations with healthcare professionals, harm reduction advocates, first responders, and community partners. The goal is simple: make it easier for people to carry naloxone consistently and confidently.

This is design in service of preparedness.

Endorsed by emergency medicine physicians and first responders, nCase is trusted by those who confront the realities of the opioid crisis every day. They understand that having naloxone readily accessible can be the difference between life and death, and their insight helped shape a solution designed to keep medication protected, secure, and within reach when it matters most.

nCase is also proud to be supported by Arch Grants, an organization that invests in early-stage companies focused on economic impact and community-driven innovation. This support reflects the care, responsibility, and intention behind our work — and reinforces our commitment to building practical, thoughtful solutions grounded in real-world needs.

nCase was founded by Dani Wilder and Matt Bitner-Glindzicz, whose backgrounds in healthcare, research, and mechanical design shape everything we build. Dani is a medical student at Washington University School of Medicine with firsthand experience and research focused on naloxone access and overdose response. Matt is a mechanical design engineer whose technical expertise guides the durability, function, and real-world usability of nCase products.

Together with a small, dedicated team spanning design, engineering, healthcare, and community advocacy, they’re united by a shared belief: thoughtful, practical tools — informed by real-world experience — can help reduce barriers to preparedness and save lives.
